NaNoWriMo status update! I am at the halfway point, which means 25K words, and I am considering making a very large change to the story that will (both fortunately and unfortunately) cut the number of current main characters in half. Going from four to two may not seem like so large a change, but I think it will help me focus on those characters specifically, instead of spreading myself thin in trying to tell this huge two-storyline story.

This also means that I will be dropping one of the storylines, for the time being. Maybe it will never get told. I don't know. But right now, I don't want to have to deal with it. XD Unfortunately, I have written two chapters for this storyline, and don't really intend to delete them because they make up about a third of my word count. D: So unless I get REALLY prolific in the next two weeks or so, those will probably stay in there for the sake of bolstering my word count. If you're one of the few people who is actually allowed (and/or willing XD) to read my "finished" product, just ignore the large lack of second-storyline in there.

I am now addicted to Death Note. Bad time to get addicted! Sigh. But it's really interesting and... and yeah. It's like watching a game of chess unfold. So...

I also have three papers and a test sometime this week. (Like I said, bad time to get addicted.) I am praying like mad that the test isn't tomorrow. I haven't heard back from the guy I emailed about assignments. =/ If it is tomorrow, I may punch him.
